The tools are made by steel, so they are heavy items(Precision tooling range from 50kg to 1000kg). It is very important to pack the tooling in correct method to protect the tooling in the plane or sea transportation. Check below our packing instructions for oversea tooling shipment.
1.Prepare a proper wooden box with a compliant IPPC heat- treated logo. Keep in mind that larger packages usually mean higher Transporting costs. The package’s size can be 50mm bigger than the tooling size in length,width and height;
2. Protect sharp edges with foam or bubble wrap.
3.Place the tooling spare parts or other components you are shipping into a plastic container or wrap with cardboard.
4.Put the tools into a wooden box and add cushioning materials such as packing peanuts, bubble wrap or paper.
5. Fix the tooling with the pallet via belt;
6. Close and seal the box.
