What we make
Precision tooling, start to finish
SSP opened in Dongguan in 2008 as a precision stamping die shop for OEM customers. The trade never changed — only how much of it we do ourselves. Today one tool room and one quality lab serve four product lines, and our engineers review every drawing for manufacturability before any steel is cut.
Every drawing gets a DFM review before steel is cut, and every tool is measured before it leaves Humen. If a critical dimension is not on the report, the tool does not ship.

Everything below is what the Humen plant actually holds: the floor space, the machines, the people and the markets our tooling ships to.

Every tool is built on this site
Tool steel and mold bases arrive at goods-in and leave dispatch as a measured, tried-out and crated tool. In between sit the design and DFM office, the CNC and EDM hall, grinding and fitting, press and molding tryout, and the Zeiss CMM room — all of them ours, all a short walk from the engineer who owns your project.

Factory overview
One site in Humen Town, Dongguan, run by SSP since 2008 and expanded in 2013.
- 8,000+ m² manufacturing floor
- Crating and dispatch on site
- Design office beside the shop floor
Production areas
Each area owns one stage, from raw steel to a tried-out tool.
- CNC machining and EDM
- Grinding, fitting and die assembly
- Press and molding tryout
Manufacturing equipment
The machines that decide whether a punch fits its die the first time.
- Mazak & Okuma 5-axis CNC
- Seibu & Sodick wire EDM
- Optical profile and surface grinders
Inspection facilities
Nothing ships on a drawing alone. Every critical dimension is measured first.
- Zeiss & Mitutoyo CMM
- Projector and vision measuring
- Hardness and roughness testers
Core capabilities
What this tool room can actually make
Four product lines, one engineering office and a tryout area that proves every die on a press before it is crated. The figures below are what we hold in production, not a brochure maximum.

Materials we work in
Engineering capabilities
Strip layouts, 3D die and mold design in UG NX and SolidWorks, forming simulation in AutoForm or Dynaform and mold-flow checks, issued as STEP, IGES or DWG.
Production capabilities7–15 day prototypes, 20–35 day production tools
Custom tooling, to your drawing
Send a STEP file, a 2D drawing or a worn part. We reverse-engineer where needed, quote the die or mold with DFM notes, and sign your NDA first if you ask.
Quality and certifications
The report ships with the tool
Quality here is not a department at the end of the line. It is an incoming check of every steel against its mill certificate, SPC at the critical machining steps, first-off, mid-run and last-off parts on the CMM, and a full dimensional report before anything is crated.
- Quality management systemISO 9001 since 2008, moved to the 2015 edition in 2020, with procedures written around our own tool room rather than a generic template.
- CertificationsIATF 16949:2016 automotive quality system, registered by NQA for stamped and injection-molded parts, plus annual audits by international OEM customers.
- Inspection capabilitiesZeiss and Mitutoyo CMM (±0.001 mm), optical profile projector, vision measuring, surface roughness and Rockwell hardness testers.
- Compliance standardsTolerances to ISO 286-1 and tool steels to ASTM A681; CMM reports, FAI, mill certificates, RoHS and PPAP Level 3 on request.
Global presence and customers
Built in Dongguan, running worldwide

Since 2008, bringing work in house
Each milestone below added a capability to the same site — which is why one engineer can answer for your tool from the first drawing to the final report.

Talk to the factory
Send us the drawing, we will send back a DFM review
A STEP file or a 2D drawing, the part material and the yearly volume are enough to start. Our engineers answer within 24 hours, in English, with DFM notes, a tooling approach and a price.
Request a quote or engineering review
Send a drawing or describe the part. An engineer - not a sales rep - replies within one business day with DFM feedback, tooling approach and pricing.
